Karen is the Client Service Manager for Strategic Financial Services and has been an invaluable asset to the progress, organization, and efficiency of the company the last 6 years. Prior to joining Strategic Financial Services, Karen worked for State Street Corp working with mutual fund accounting, and project management. Project management is a strength of Karen’s and during her career hiatus to raise her 3 boys, Karen used those skills organizing fundraisers and student events at the boy’s school! As our Client Service Manager, you will rely on Karen for all things related to scheduling appointments and money movement – opening new accounts, requesting distributions, account maintenance, beneficiary updates, and more. She also “herds cats” while she attempts to manage the hustle and bustle of Mike and Regina’s demanding calendars.
Being that Karen isn’t one to sit idle, you may see her out and about in the community as she is an avid golfer and also works part-time at the local PGA golf store. She is a die-hard Boston sports fan. You name it – she watches it! Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox – “Boston – you’re my home, baby!” Her family thrives on personal connection and togetherness – so much so that she hosts a huge party every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving called, “The Day Afta” party. Karen’s welcoming and nurturing nature is simply made for being a divine hostess. That is why we call her the “face” or “welcoming committee” of our company as she greets you at the door of our office. If you ever want to show Karen a little extra love, text her a thoughtful note, send her a card with pictures of the beach, or deliver some cookies or chocolate to make her day. She works hard at delivering the best customer service and we know she’d welcome any admiration and appreciation you can spare!
