In 1920, women earned the right to vote. In 1974, single and divorced women were finally able to get a credit card without needing a male cosigner. We’ve come a long way, and this year we are celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8. While we’ve made so many strides, this day reminds us that there is still a long way to go to ensure equality for all women everywhere.
